Mr. Happysun's Groovy FAQ's

Q. Why do you make MIDIs of 70's music?
A.  The main reason that I sequence 70's music is my love for
the music of the 70's.  Another reason is that I can usually find the sheet music for 70's songs in large collections for only a fraction of the cost of new sheet music.

Q How long have you been creating computer generated music?
A.  I started creating computer generated music on a (get this) TI/99 - 4a back in 1986!  For the next few years, I made several songs on a Commodore 64.  After catching up with technology in 1995, using the now popular MIDI format, I've been creating MIDIs ever since and fully intend to do so until computers and MIDI are extinct.

Q. Sometimes, while listening to your MIDIs, I hear strange things,  Can you explain?
A.  Yes, Occasionally I "break the rules".  If you listen carefully to the ending of "You Sexy Thing", You will hear Hot Chocolate's other hit "Every 1's a Winner".  Also, at the end of my original "Psychomix", you will hear the theme from "Days Of Our Lives".

Q. Are there any more 70's songs you would like to sequence?
A.  There are several sheet musics that I have searched the world for high and low, to no avail.  Some of them include, . . .
  • The Things We Do For Love by 10cc
  • Skyhigh by Jigsaw
  • Baby Blue from Badfinger
  • Thunder Island by Jay Ferguson
  • Lady by the Little River Band
  • Ebony Eyes by Bob Welch
  • Magic by Pilot
  • Shining Star by the Manhattans
Just to name a few.  If you have any of this music and wish to trade or sell or even donate, Please E-mail me at rada4@prodigy.com.

Q. What is an "Afternoon Delight"?
A.  an "Afternoon Delight" is what some may refer to as a "Nooner".
